Let's start a gay cycling club

I have learned that a blog search can be done by what's in the title or words in the body of the post. So, since I am using this blog to attract gay bicyclists, I would like to apologize now for the repeated use of the phrase "gay cycling" club.

Is there anyone out there?

Wow. How do you start a gay bicycle club in a city where the gay population is underground (for the most part)? This will probably be the most challenging thing I have ever done in my life. Especially since I am new to cycling. Lets see if this blog generates any interest.

It is possible that I am entirely wrong about the gay population but since I have been here (for 8 years) I haven't heard or seen much. You see, I am from Southern California where being gay is not a big deal. The GLBTG Center (on Normal St in San Diego) is the size of a small apartment building. I used to know where the Center was here in SA but now I am not so sure.

How I plan to get things going is with a blog. In this blog I will talk about me and my head first dive into riding a bike at the age of 55.
